Members of the band may borrow titles (within reasonable guidelines).  Schools who have previously loaned music to the band may also borrow music titles.  All parts must be retuned free of markings (erased) and placed in score order.

The Kankakee Municipal Band library includes the Governors State University collection which was donated to the band in the 1990's.  The collection is extensive and includes several Mark Hindsley orchestral transcriptions:

  • Military Symphony - Haydn
  • Christmas Concerto - Corelli
  • Music for the Royal Fireworks - Handel
  • Prelude, Chorale, and Fugue - Bach
